Baby Corn Salt Pepper


Cold evenings… Hunger pangs… Craving something hot… Ummm… Thinking what to prepare in a jiffy and savor with a cup of hot tea? Try Baby Corn Salt Pepper. Easy and quick to make and yummy to eat! Here’s the recipe:


1 packet baby corn
4 tablespoons refined flour
1 tablespoon cornflour
i small teaspoon baking soda
Half teaspoon ground black pepper
Salt to taste
Half cup water
Oil for frying


Boil the baby corns in water for 5 mins. Strain and keep aside. In a bowl, mix refined flour, cornflour, baking soda, salt and pepper with half a cup of water and beat well. In a pan, heat oil. Dip the baby corns one by one in the flour batter and put in the oil. Deep dry on medium flame till golden. Arrange on a paper towel to absorb the excess oil. Serve hot with tomato and chilly sauces.
